He started as an advisor for Total Hockey back in 2005, before becoming the Chairman of Total Hockey in 2009.

Peter is a former NHL goaltender for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers and Detroit Redwings.

Dean is the driving force behind Total Hockey Training Systems.  He has more than 35 years of hockey experience, including playing in more than 500 NHL games, coaching Division I college hockey and training athletes at his Hudson, Wisconsin facility.

Scott brings 15 years of his rink design and construction experience to the Total Hockey Team.  Scott develops, designs, and installs Total Hockey Training Systems products, ice rinks, and development centers.

Steve is a Marketing Communications specialist who has successfully built and leveraged a wealth of contacts made during a 12 year career in the NHL playing for the Chicago Black Hawks, Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators. 

KIRK OLSON

Strength and Condition Protocols Coach

Kirk Olson is in his fifth year as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Minnesota Wild. He is responsible for developing, implementing and executing all aspects of the strength and conditioning protocols provided by Total Hockey Worldwide.

Bob is a retired defenseman who was a member of the gold medal Miracle On Ice 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team.  He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1977 NHL Draft .

GARY SUTER

Gary was selected 180th overall in the 1984 Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames.  Gary won the Calder Memorial Trophy for his 1985-86 rookie NHL season.  Gary played 1145 games in the NHL with Calgary, Chicago, and San Jose.

Ryan was selected 7th overall in the 2003 Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators.  Ryan currently plays for the Nashville Predators, and has played in more than 311 NHL games.

Jamal was selected 89th overall in the 1993 Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues.  Jamal  currently plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and has played in more than 666 NHL games.  He has been an advisor since 2005.

Fernando was selected 195th overall in the 1996 Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers. 

Fernando played 362 games in the NHL all with Edmonton.

YANIC PERREAULT

Yanic was selected 47th overall in the 1994 Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.  Yanic played 859 games in the NHL with Toronto, Los Angeles, Montreal, Nashville, Phoenix, and Chicago.

DENIS POTVIN

Four time Stanley Cup winner

Denis Potvin was selected 1st overall in the 1973 Entry Draft by the New York Islanders.  Denis won the Calder Memorial Trophy for his 1973-74 rookie NHL season and the Norris Memorial Trophy in 1976, '78, and '79.  Denis played 1060 games in the NHL all with the Islanders, and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame 1991.

DR. JACK BLATHERWICK

Author of "Overspeed:  Skill Training for Hockey"

Dr. Blatherwick is a former team physiologist and skating coach at the NHL level.  He was the team physiologist for the U.S. Olympic Hockey Team (’80, ’84, ’88, ’92, ’94).  Dr. Blatherwick helped write the current USA Hockey coaching manual (authoring the section on "Raising the Comfort Zone Through Overspeed Training").

LAURA STAMM

Laura Stamm International Power Skating System

Advisory Group

Laura is the Pioneer of Power Skating Instruction, and has been a skating coach to many NHL players and teams since 1970.  She is the founder of Laura Stamm International Power Skating System and author of  four books, including "Power Skating".

Dan played 503 games in the NHL with Colorado and St. Louis.  Dan was on the Stanley Cup Winning Colorado Avalanche Team of 2000/01.

DOUG SMAIL

Doug played 845 games in the NHL with Winnipeg, Minnesota, Quebec, and Ottawa.

J.P. VIGIER

Jamie Kompon recently finished his second season as an assistant coach with the Kings and his first as Assistant Coach and Director of Amateur Development. He joined the club’s coaching staff on July 10, 2006.
